K & B Jewelry

As a salesman – I like to try to engage my customers. I can pull out my smart phone and show illustrations to immediately grab the customer’s attention and boost a conversation. Super good for those odd bits of detail.

I am a gemologist and I won’t be using this for lab work. Of course in my lab I have everything I need. Still, a set of reference like this is extremely useful for guidelines when I am in the field. It appears you have incorporated the widest of ranges from all of the institutes. Great piece of work for today’s mobile world.

I’m going to Hong Kong and China for the first time to look for new sources for materials for my boutique line of jewellery. This material will be an invaluable aid.

The diamond color comparison on page 6 is a masterful piece of work, extremely useful. We see all kinds of certificates.

I like to be creative and dabble a bit with designing my own Jewellery. I measured the stones in a diamond ring and using JAM I was able to come up with a good approximation of the total diamond carat weight. I then converted and subtracted it from the total ring weight to get a good estimation of the weight of the gold. All of the information was there and easy to work with. I now need the diamond price multiplied by the carat weight and I need the gram weight multiplied by the appropriate price of gold and I will have a near exact evaluation of the cost of my ring. So quickly and easily done. Thank you. Good value.

When you do jewelry repair you see a lot of things. Consequently, you have to have a good set of reference materials. With this new reference e-book on my tablet I will see how many of my standard reference books I can permanently shelve.
